Under the Agreement of cofounders of the scientific journal "Nauka i Obrazovanie" of April 28, 2015 State Budgetary Institution “The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” has a status of a publisher, an editorial office and a distributor of the journal.
About Publisher
State Budgetary Institution “The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” was established in 1993 to integrate science of academia, higher education and industryin the region, to frame priority prospects of science in Yakutia. There are 5 Joint Scientific Councils (JSC) in the following fields of science: Earth Sciences, Physical and Engineering Sciences, Physical and Biological Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Humanities. The Academy enlists 41 members, including one academician and five corresponding members of RAS. Research Divisionsand Departments of the Academy are as follows: State Budgetary Institution "The center of the Arctic archaeology and paleoecology of a Human", Arctic Research Center; Ecology of Northern cities, Researchof Mammoth Fauna, Compiling encyclopedia of Yakutia, Centre of Social Problems of Labor, and Publishing Center.
One of the spheres of The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is publishing. Periodic scientific journal "Nauka I Obrazovanie" has been published since 1996, popular scientific journal "Science and Engineering in Yakutia" has been published since 2001.
The journals publish works of leading scientists of the republic, scientific conferences and symposia packages, annual reports of grant recipients and scholarships for young scientists and students.
